Almost Christmas

These photos can't even begin to truly show the beauty within this precious little girl, and the love she is surrounded with. We had an all-too-short family gathering today, and Avery was able to open up a few gifts early. I have a feeling Santa will be generous with this one.

20 Minutes

Just got a new 10mm fisheye and 31mm 1.8 limited for the Pentax K10D, so I took them out for 20 minutes to the cemetary near my house. I can't say enough about the K10D. It's becoming my favorite camera - and coupled with these amazing lenses, it's really showing me what it can do. I felt refreshed and empowered with it in my hands, and I'm looking forward to spending more than 20 minutes shooting with them. These photos aren't bad for the limited time using them in the field.

Surprise!

My wife is the best. I came home yesterday, and she had a small gift on my keyboard - this awesome Christmas tree ornament with a zombie on it. We promptly got dressed, headed out, and picked up our tree.
